In most cases Meristem can get several hundred products online in a day. If you have pictures, we can process them and add product details within a day, too. We can get your eCommerce site up and running in 3-5 business days, and within 3 days if you already have a payment gateway.
How? By working smart. The Seed Depot contains almost 400 products. We got them online in just 6 hours. That's everything: price, weight, shipping, shopping cart functionality, and a simple mini-app that displays different prices depending on whether you're a member or not.
eCommerce Details
Authorize.net and PayPal are two of the world's most popular online payment gateway providers. A payment gateway processes credit card purchases online, and most also let you process transaction via your web browser while logged into your payment gateway account (Sometimes people will make phone orders).
It takes anywhere from 3-5 days to get your payment gateway account approved. Once approved we can enter the keys that unlock your eCommerce website.
Shipping: You can employ one or all of these shipping options to ship anywhere in the world. You can even allow customers to pick up their orders. USPS, FedEx, UPS and DHL are the current carriers that will ship your products. Our shipping uses live look-ups each time someone checks out.
Shipping can be complicated. There are many factors to account for. Those are mainly weight, packaging and handling fees; but dimensions also come into play. It's your responsibility to provide Meristem with accurate product weight so we can build an eCommerce website that will be profitable.
